Mogility Pro is designed with the fall collegiate season in mind. Within our team sessions, small group development practices, scrimmages, and athletic performance sessions, we carefully periodize each of our athletes so that they can reach peak performance by the start of their season.   • MATT MARQUESS

    HEAD COACH & TECHNICAL DIRECTOR

    Matt is the founder and director of Mogility Soccer, an organization that has served thousands of soccer players throughout the San Francisco bay area and many more players around the country.

    As a player, Matt earned the distinction of Academic All-American at Santa Clara University. He then went on to play in the MLS for the Kansas City Wizards (2008-2010).

    Matt currently serves as the Director of Mogility Soccer and the Technical Director for Almaden FC. Prior to these roles, Matt spent extensive time as a coach for several high-achieving De Anza Force Academy and NPL teams.

    Matt holds a USSF B License and is a Certified Personal Trainer and Performance Enhancement Specialist through the NASM.

  • BRET SIMON

    HEAD COACH & SPORTING DIRECTOR

    Bret joins Mogility Pro with a wide range of experiences working with top youth, collegiate and professional players throughout his coaching career. He has served as the head coach for the men’s soccer programs at Stanford University (2001-2011), Creighton University (1993-2000), and Berry College (1981-1993) and was a collegiate and professional soccer player himself.

    Bret has also served as Athletic Director at Berry College and as a Director for the Olympic Development Program’s South region. He currently serves as Athletic Director for Sacred Heart Schools in Atherton, CA.

    Bret holds a USSF A Director’s License, earned his MBA from Berry College, and serves as an instructor for the Positive Coaching Alliance.

  • BEN SIMON

    DIRECTOR OF PLAYER DEVELOPMENT

    Ben is the Director of Business Development for Mogility Soccer and oversees Mogility’s San Mateo branch.

    He graduated from Occidental College in 2020, serving as a four-year starter and captain of the Occidental Men’s Soccer team.

    Ben has earned his status as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA and is progressing with his soccer licenses through the United States Soccer Federation.

    Ben will serve as Mogility Pro’s Director of Player Development this summer, bridging the gap between athletic performance and on-field programs.
